snapshot

Capture screenshot + DOM tree + page state + storage in one shot.

Bridge Required

This command requires an active bridge connection and platform screenshot tools.

Usage

tauri-agent-tools snapshot -o <prefix> [options]

Error Handling

Each sub-step (screenshot, DOM, page state, storage, eval) is independent. If one fails, the others still run. Failed steps report an error string instead of a file path:

--dom-depth must be a non-negative integer. Full-window PNG capture on macOS and Wayland needs only native capture tools; element crops and X11 capture also require ImageMagick. Platform prerequisites are checked before the snapshot starts. Use capture when other artifacts should still be collected despite missing screenshot tools.
